HELP!! java or javascript help please....

yes, well a friend of my fathers (i'm 14) who isnt very computer literate has a website for his business, moomanmilk.com this was done in frontpage (ewww..)

it is very simple as it is and he is asking me to do a few things for him.
the website as it is consists of very simple pages that link to other pages, an order page which saves the text and sends it to his email.

im looking to redo his web page with java or javascript.. since he isnt very computer literate though id like to make it easily accesible for him to change.
is there a java or javascript tutorial on majorgeeks somewhere? this is the only thread i could find that was generally relavent to this subject and i can't find anything...

also are there any programs that i can use to make this easier for me? a simple input text into an applet?
i can get pretty much any program i need but i do not know which is the best..

javascript is a client side language that really isn't meant for building sites out of. Java server pages, however, can allow you to build sites as can PHP5, ASP.NET, Ruby On Rails. If you want to allow him to change content easily then he should have his site database driven so that the content of his site is stored in the database and pulled up when requested by a visitor looking at any given page.

 

nevermind with this, i've given up on the java thing.. using dreamweaver cs3 v.9 to make it.. although my computer went down shortly after installing...

not a conflict with dreamweaver.. power supply went out i think.. im going to post in hardware befoer buying a new one just incase.:major
