HELP Lost USB

My computer working with XP + SP2 lost suddenly all USB recognition (including printer)
Motherboard is ASUS P4P800M-S.
All help appreciated.

 

Try going into Device Manager, deleting all the USB devices, reboot, and let Windows reinstall all the necessary drivers/files! Hope this helps!

I thank you for your help but the problem still exists.

I tried NOVICE solution (thank you!) with no results.

USB just quit without any assistance from me (no PC movement or fiffling around inside).

I used Everest (and also Sandra). Both software picked up the USBs of the system but I still cannot get any aknowledgement of the connected devices (printer, mass storage, camera,etc).

The programs were usefull as I could get the exact name of the mainboard (ASUS P4P800S-M). I went to ASUS web page and this model is not referred. I downloaded and used ASUS utility program to check the mainboard and BIOS and I got the message "NO ASUS mainboard found"!!

I think the next option will be to go to the computer shop
