Help me configure my new computer.

Hello, I recently built a gaming rig and I'm trying to update my drivers and bios and such online but I don't really know how...

I'm also trying to get my computer protected, I was emailed a valid key to use the full version of AVG Anti-Virus, but I don't know what to do as far as getting a fire wall and malware removal utilities.

All I've done so far is install ABP and NoScript on FireFox and Install AVG Anti-Virus. I've been using Trend Micro on my other computers for a couple of years now and it doesn't like Spybot S&D or AdAware, so I don't know what the modern malware protection programs people are using now.

You need to put the name of your motherboard in the left top box, and motherboard in the catagory box below it- M2N-SLI Deluxe

 

Hey thanks for the replies I have to go soon and don't have time to check the links you gave me. There's a lot of choices when it comes to firewalls, can you recommend one for me?
