HELP ME! Hard Drive Bios Set Up?

    I recently installed another hard drive on one my computers...It was the same kind as the original, but when i turn on my computer it says it has a problem with it. I go into bios but dont no how to set up the hard drives and extra cd drive. please help me.

    So are you having problems with a new cd rom drive as well? What have you tried so far? You would need to format the hard drive and make sure the jumper is set to slave or cable select (same goes for the cd rom jumper as well)

    what does it say? also make sure your hard drives are setup on the primary IDE port and your CDROM on the secondary IDE, and make sure your boot drive is set to master

    Describe how all your drives are setup, master/slave, primary/secondary IDE channels.

    If your just adding drives to your PC there shouldnt be much if anything to setup in Bios.
