help me please

hi need some serious help, im using the laptop as my pc is broke i had the google redirecting virus and no programmes would detect them tried them all, i tried combifix but would not work it would remain on the bit where it said scanning files should take no longer than 10 mins i left it for 2hrs and still nothing,
i recently was recommened to try dr web cureit it found trojan and deleted it,
i restarted the computer and it gets up 2 the windows xp sign with the curser at the bottom then goes to a blank screen and reboots it self every time
please can somebody help

right ive tried to fix the reg and still the same
as regards to online fix i cannot get online as the computer does not fully reboot and keeps on rebooting,
i think a full reinstall of windows is in order, but will i lose all the saved work and no i havent back up either

If you have data that you wish to salvage, you might try booting to a live Linux environment (I prefer Mint) and transferring the files to a USB device.

Quick question: can you boot into Safe Mode?
