Your computer couldn't call our location on the standard SIP port (5060). Generally, one of the following environmental issues causes this failure:

If you have a VoIP Service, your VoIP/Phone Adaptor may have reserved the standard SIP port and is filtering out our SIP packets. Consider temporarily removing the Adaptor from your configuration and re-running the test.
Your Personal Firewall, if you are using Windows XP, may be filtering the SIP and UDP ports used for communication.
Either your home firewall or your broadband provider's firewall may be blocking the SIP and UDP ports used for communication.

Please check these firewall settings and ensure that UDP ports 5060 and 50000 - 50100 are open for RTP streams and SIP signaling. Then re-run your test.

This is what im getting please help. I couldn't find were the NAPT is to disable it. I have a UBEE multi port wireless modem from charter com

Greetings, iceman982004, and welcome to MajorGeeks...

You'll most likely have to log into your modem settings through your ISP to disable NAPT mode...

Also, please refrain from double posting...

Caliban I don't need no steenkin' title!

Click Start > Run, type cmd, press Enter, type ipconfig, press Enter...there should be a Default Gateway address listed, such as 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.1.254, etc...

You then enter that address in a browser's address bar to access your ISP/router settings...

Well, if the NAPT disable settings are not readily available, then maybe that is not a setting that your ISP wishes to be changed - you might try contacting your ISP to get an idea if they allow that or not...

We could, however, be on the wrong track here - what is it exactly that you're trying to do?

Please try again in a couple of minutes. If the test continues to fail please contact us at VoIP.Workathome@convergys.com
