Help me reach my goal: 2005 Ride for the Roses

Guys,

I know I do not post here much or even game much anymore, but I have a favor to ask everyone.

I am part of the Lance Armstrong Foundation's Peleton Project.
What is the Peleton Project?

I plan on participating in the 2005 Ride for the Roses and completeing the full 100 mile circuit. I started training for this while I was recently in the hospital for a Stem Cell Transplant (12/24/2004 - 1/11/2005).

You do not have to donate much $1, $5, $10, etc .. any donation is GREATLY appreciated.

We had this discussion recently about 38,000 users donating a buck each, but sadly the truth of the matter is that while 38,000 people have registered, only around 100 it was suggested are regular users of MG. Most come to solve a problem and then go again, never to be seen. So while it sounds a wonderful way to raise donations and not really cost any one individual anything, it wouldn't really work that way.

I wish you all the very best in your campaign Shan, and so encouraging for other cancer sufferers to hear how you personally are overcoming this and fighting back
