Okay, I have settled on a CPU. Specifically an AMD 64 4000+. I don't want to discuss the merrits of chips here, just motherboards and possibly memory.

Through Pricewatch and such I think I have narrowed things down. Here is what I have come up with:

    Abit KN8 Ultra 4000
    Asus AN8-E
    MSI RX480 Neo 2-F

I may do some slight overclocking. Just to experiment, but it is not a weighted factor. I will more than likely stick with ATI for video. As for RAM, 1 gig of whatever will work best.

Of course I will do more research, but impressions for the crew here are considered most.

    Thanks!

I agree with the newegg website. And also, if you are getting a socket 939 for your cpu, get the Gigabyte GA-K8N for your motherboard. i also reccomend Nvidia video card. much better for gaming. If you are gaming, get the Evga Geforce 7300gt. If for basic networking, go as simple as to the Evga geforce 5500fx

    Of the three you posted
    I'd go for the Asus
