hi, I'm putting an old machine back together for a friends daughter, only problem is, the motherboard I'm using.. I dont have a clue of the make, and cant find a makers name....

theres a weird what looks like a squiggly R then another R then a B

    R RB

It looks like a logo, and I have seen it before.. but cant remember whos..

There seems to be a model number after it.. M103

Its a P3 board, with an SIS 5595 chipset on it.. (i think.. lol)
    Award Bios SI21 2m

    AGP Slot
    3 SDRAM slots
    3 PCI slots
    2 ISA Slots

I know its not fantastic, and its almost as old as the Ark.. BUT, with the bits and pieces I have... it will run and the kid can play on the net... and if the machine dies.. then they have only lost pence instead of dig money...
They are on the breadline, and cant afford much, this way they have a machine thats usable..

Any help would be appreciated... Cheers guys, I know your all up to the task.

Have you already put the computer together?

What is your particular issue right now? Does it have onboard sound/video?

Dunno if the mobos too old or not but does it have an FCC ID number at all?

Could you post a few pics of it, may jog someones memory?

If it's assembled, then software can id the board with ease. Fresh Diagnose is my favorite, if only because it's free. I'll also do benchmarks against other processors, though that probably means nothing.

Software programs aren't going to help identify the motherboard if it's not installed.

As stated above, look for an FCC ID number, which you can check HERE.

Failing that, just post any other numbers on the board here if you are unsure, or Google them.
