Help my internet connection not working

I ve got a cable connction to the pc but a wireless connection to the laptop the problem I have is the the laptop will connect but won't show page or it drops the connection please help typical female does not know what to do .

I have the same problem, I think i have just got rid of a virus, but now I cant get any webpage to load??? my wireless says it is connected but nothing will load.

Hopefully we can both get fixed from this thread,

What are you using for your wireless connection?

If you're using a wireless router try connecting the laptop to the router with an ehternet cable and see if you get internet access then.
