Help Need a HDD wiper...

I need a free Hard drive wipe utility that can do a DOD wipe of a hard drive that will work with large hard drives and work inside atleast windows XP.

You got me thinking.... most wiping tools are bootable and you said you wanted one that runs from within Windows.... I think this is one: it's called "Eraser" and the newest release (version 5.7 according to the web site) allows for free space wipes, meaning that any free space on a hard drive running Windows can be wiped, leaving the OS and programs intact. So, check it out. Using this, you could delete all the files and folders to the recycle bin, then run the free space wipe. There's a program here at Major Geeks called "nCleaner" that has a free space shredder also....
