Help needed after a virus

Hey Everyone,
I know that there are lots of programs out there to help with repairing corrupt files I'm just looking for some help to find what I need...We had a virus on our computer recently and we were able to remove it, but the computer was still acting up so we decided to reformat. Before we reformatted I grabbed up all our files (pictures, mp3's, excel & word docs, exe setup files) and threw them onto a few DVD's. After reformatting and reinstalling windows I tried to use my files and the setup flies and the excel and word docs are all corrupt, possibly other things too, but I'm not sure yet. I'm looking for a program that will repair these files from the CD, I have seen many that do it directly from that hard drive but that isn't really what I need...So if anyone can help me sift through the madness to find a good program that repair's corrupt files from a CD it would be greatly appreciated...

Awesome, I didn't even know about that...I searched for like two days (mind you I didn't find much since I'm stuck on dialup!) and just came up with expensive programs...I'm trying it right now...Thank You So Much!

 

Well I've attempted it but it doesn't seem to be working...It seems like something might still be lurking on either my computer or on the disks because everything kinda gets hung up when I try and do anything with the disks....I'm going to try the cleaning procedure you guys have in place and see if it works....Its gonna take a long time though! These files take way to long on dialup! hahaha
