help needed please

hi there. I know asking for help on the internet of people can be kind of sketchy but I'm willing in this case. Seems like a pretty trustworthy site. Hopefully you're compensated somehow for your helping of people like me with their computer problems unless it's a hobby in which case, have a crack at this:

I have an e-Machines T-2642, 2.60 gigahertz Intel Celeron processor, 40 GB hard drive with 512 MB of RAM. I'm running XP w/SP2. My default browser is Firefox 2.0.0.11.

I've attached my hijack log (from TSG). If you could, please thumb through it to see if there's anything wrong.

Oh, might help to tell you what's going on:

Well, my USB slots stopped working - intermittently at first. The red light underneath the mouse was on but the mouse wasn't working. We bought a new USB card and now the mouse works fine. We still keep getting some USB icon at the lower right corner of the screen where the time is. We'll click on it and all it says is "Unknown USB Device"

Now, the speakers won't work. They still don't after a few days.

The keyboard stopped working for a little while. We got that working again ok.

AVG anti-virus isn't finding anything except a .dll change. The spybot program finds some entries but won't remove them. I don't know how to do the registry.
