Help Needed Please!!

Hello All....

I'm at wits end as to what's going on with my PC. Everything has been fine till recently......

My PC will either lock up or crash suddenly then start to reboot. It starts to load the bios screen than after detecting the Primary and Secondary slave and master, it gives me this line...


Hardware monitor found an error. Enter power setup menu for details.

F1 to continue Del to setup



If I hit F1 it reboots the PC to a black screen and if I hit the Delete button or restart the machine it takes me to the Bios setup utility everytime. At this point the only way I can turn off the computer is by unplugging it.

If I leave the PC off for awhile, it will take me back to the windows log in screen, but will start freezing up and rebooting eventually. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated!!!

First question Have you recently added any new hardware?
In bios is all your hardware recognized, drives & memory?
What kind of Power supply do you have?
Are you able to boot to safe mode, (push the F8 key while booting) if so go to device manager and see if any problems there.
Have you tryed system restore?

 

While checking out the power supply, I noticed that my fan had melted off the heat sync Thanks for your response bro, problem fixed!!!
