help needed with inihid program being blocked

I am running vista home premium on a new gateway pc. i just connected a simpletech 500gb usb hard drive, which seems to be working just fine.

however, when i boot my pc up, i get a blocked programs icon in my system tray, and it says it is blocking a program called inihid. this appears to be some kind of button manager program??

i googled it, and found a few sites that said inihid is "SAFE". so i right clicked on the inihid icon in my blocked folder, and allowed it to run....i didn't notice any impact on my pc at all.

however everytime i boot up the pc, i get the blocked program icon and sure enough inihid is inside the folder.

any ideas will be appreciated.

I found this at the Simpletech site.

Q: Why doesn't my button work in Vista?
A: The Button Manager program is blocked by Vista at Start Up. To allow the button manager, click on Blocked Startup Programs in your System Tray (by the clock). Go to Run Blocked Program and select inihid. That is the file for the Button Manager Software. There is currently no way to permanently enable this selection.

It appears you will have to live with it, sorry.
I'd keep checking at the Simpletech site about once every 6 weeks to see if they come up with a solution.
