help pick a motherboard

i get get one of 2 motherboards for free, but i am not sure which to get
honestly i am not even sure how to descibe them.

here is what i know

##1st one###
K7M slot A motherboard (AMD 751 CHipset)
AMD Athlon Processor Support
200 MHz Front Side Bus
UltraDMA/66
Integrated AC'97 3D audio (optional)
PC100 SDRAM Support
Boot Virus Protection and PC-cillin
Integrated PC Health Monito
Audio Modem Riser SLot
SPU JumperFree mode
Enhanced ACPI
Accelerated Graphics port
-that is what is on the front of the manual-
basicly what i noticed is it has 5 pci slots and
3 of those long black ones with the white end locks (something to do with extra memory i think) DIMM sockets!!!! that is what they are
has 2 usb ports and then all the hardware i need to add another 2 usb ports and all kinds of other connections (i would post a pic but i am not sure how)
the only thing is .... it take the kind of processor that has to be on its own card


##2nd one##
this one has no manual two it. i know very little about it
it can take up to 950MHZ AMD and is the newer type of CPU connection (not he CPU has to be on it's own card sort of thing) <at least i am told this is newer and therefor better>
it has 3 PCI slots and
only 2 DIMM sockets

basicly choice 1 i think is older but has more stuff on it
PCI sockets
DIMM sockets and all kinds of other stuff i have no clue what it is but will find out

choice 2 has less stuff on it, but is newer.... i think

if this is enough to give me your opinion then please do...
if this isnt', tell me what i need to figure out

i really don't know much about this stuff (if you couldn't tell allready)
and i know what you are thinking... that ishould just read up on it
the thing is i am getting one of these for free... and i think i need to decide quik.

i am wanting to build a puter and well.... a free motherboard is a good start i think.
