    Hello-

    Severe issues with Malware and programs related to Malware.

    I followed the FAQ line by line. Ran Super Spyware, rebooted, not cannot access the program. Tried installins MalwareBytes, renamed the file, dies after 5 seconds of a quick scan, now cannot access the program on the computer.

    Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

    Please try doing the below:

    Download and save the below to your PC (save it anywhere you can find it. The Desktop is fine). Then doube click on it to run it.

    AVPFind.bat

    It should take a couple minutes to run. You will see a black command prompt window while it is running and it should close when it is finished. Once it finishes, attach the c:\avplog.txt file that is will hopefully create as long as the malware does not block the batch file from running.

    Now download and Run exeHelper

    • Please download exeHelper to your desktop.
    • Double-click on exeHelper.com to run the fix.
    • A black window should pop up, press any key to close once the fix is completed.
    • Post the contents of log.txt (Will be created in the directory where you ran exeHelper.com)

    Note: If the window shows a message that says "Error deleting file", please re-run the program before posting a log - and post the two logs together (they will both be in the one file).

    Also please try running the below online scan:

    http://www.superantispyware.com/onlinescan.html

    Reboot immediately after scanning if it finds and removes anything. Let me know if anything was found. It does not save a log.

    Then try running these instructions: Using MGtools

    Attach the below logs when finished with all of the above:

    • C:\avplog.txt - from AVPfind
    • log.txt - from exeHelper
    • C:\MGlogs.zip - from MGtools

    The C:\ assumes that drive C is you Windows boot drive. If you boot from another drive, then use the correct drive letter above.

    We are making progress.

    Please use add/remove programs to uninstall:
    J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 2

    Now download The Avenger by Swandog469, and save it to your Desktop.

    * Extract+ avenger.exe from the Zip file and save it to your desktop
    * Run avenger.exe by double-clicking on it.
    * -Do not change any check box options!!
    * Copy everything in the Quote box below, and paste it into the Input script here: part of the window:

    * Now click the Execute button.
    * Click Yes to the prompt to confirm you want to execute.
    * Click Yes to the Reboot now? question that will appear when Avenger finishes running.
    * Your PC should reboot, if not, reboot it yourself.
    * A log file from Avenger will be produced at C:\avenger.txt and it will popup for you to view when you login after reboot.

    Now download and install:
    Java Runtime 6

    Now run Ccleaner to clean out only temp files and nothing else!

    Now run the C:\MGtools\GetLogs.bat file by double clicking on it (Note: if using Vista, don't double click, use right click and select Run As Administrator).

    Then attach the below logs:

    * C:\Avenger.txt
    * C:\MGlogs.zip

    Make sure you tell me how things are working now!

    Thanks so much, attached are the two logs.

    The browser via Yahoo and Google now work, thank you!

    Only issue I seem to have is that Itunes keeps prompting for a new download. I click it, and it never downloads.

    Also, I have the Norman malware cleaner exe on the desktop from before. Cannot delete, and it is not in the list of programs to delete under add/remove.

    Should I try installing any Anti Malware software, such as Malwarebytes or others?

    Thanks so much for your help.

    We can use Avenger to remove Norman. But I also want to have you do this>

    Double click this:
    C:\MGtools\FixPerm.bat. Let it run.

    Then run C:\MGtools\analyse.exe by double clicking on it (Note: if using Vista, don't double click, use right click and select Run As Administrator). If it opens, select to do a scan and save the log. Tell me what happens, and if it does run, attach that log.

    * Run avenger.exe by double-clicking on it.

    Attach both logs.

    Thanks, the MG bat file popped up and then dissappeared.

    The avenger did run, did delete Norman and posted a log.

    UPDATE

    Logon this morning was fine, then I got hit with a Windows or virus police and now I cannot get onto IE.

    Remaining calm, but a major annoyance to be sure.

    Thanks

    Please download to you desktop Inherit.exe

    Next I want you to download Junction.zip.
    Unzip it and put junction.exe in the Windows directory (C:\Windows).

    Now please try doing the C:\MGtools\FixPerm.bat.

    Now run the C:\MGtools\GetLogs.bat file by double clicking on it (Note: if using Vista, don't double click, use right click and select Run As Administrator).

    Then attach the below logs:

    * C:\MGlogs.zip

    Make sure you tell me how things are working now and whether you are still having permission problems!

    Thanks, several pop ups during the MG run saying that Registry editing is disabled by the administrator.

    Here is the log, inherit and junction are on the desktop and C directory.

    Had to move the file from another laptop to the infected desktop CPU, as I cannot open IE.

    You did not put Junction.exe where I asked you to put it. Please move the exe file to the C:\Windows directory.

    Please disable all anti-virus and anti-spyware programs while we do the following (re-enable when you are finished):

    Now Copy the bold text below to notepad. Save it as fixME.reg to your desktop. Be sure the "Save as" type is set to "all files" Once you have saved it double click it and allow it to merge with the registry.
    Make sure that you tell me if you receive a success message about adding the above
    to the registry. If you do not get a success message, it definitely did not work.

    Now download The Avenger by Swandog469, and save it to your Desktop.

    * Extract+ avenger.exe from the Zip file and save it to your desktop
    * Run avenger.exe by double-clicking on it.

    -
    Now run Ccleaner to clean out only temp files and nothing else!

    Now, if you have moved junction.exe to where I asked you to, please re-run the C:\MGtools\FixPerm.bat.

    Now run the C:\MGtools\GetLogs.bat file by double clicking on it (Note: if using Vista, don't double click, use right click and select Run As Administrator).

    Then attach the below logs:

    * C:\Avenger.txt
    * C:\MGlogs.zip

    Then do the Fixperm.bat first ( assuming you have moved the Junction.exe ) and then try the Avenger. See if you can then do the reg fix.

    We need to do this then:
    Download this Win32kDiag(If on your desktop - Right click and choose copy / then Open my computer, click on the C drive and in the window paste it there) and save to C:\Win32kDiag.exe. You must save it here!!!! Click on Start->Run, and copy-paste the following command (the bolded text) into the "Open" box, and click OK. When it's finished, there will be a log called Win32kDiag.txt on your desktop. Please attach this log.
    C:\win32kdiag.exe -f -r

    Now see if you can run the reg. fix.

    It was not there in your latest MGLogs.zip. So now if everything is where it should be, run the C:\MGTools\Fixperm.bat.

    Tell me what problems you still have and also run the C:\MGtools\GetLogs.bat file by double clicking on it (Note: if using Vista, don't double click, use right click and select Run As Administrator).

    Can't explain the junction.exe issue. I look in the Windows directory and it is there.

    * C:\MGlogs.zip

    Wendigo X Private E-2

    Here are the logs. The Combofix icon is no longer on the desktop, and it did not seem to run, or froze once it got to the creating log file point.

    There does not seem to be a log for that, but here is the MG log.

    Thank you multiple times over for continuing to help.

    The files and the registry key are gone. The only remaining file is C:\WINDOWS\Hlupuqiyaloqe.bin which is empty. You may as well delete the C:\ComboFix folder. I am not seeing any other issues in those logs. Tell me what issues you are still having.
