Help "Please wait while connection is beeing established" virus

Hello,

I have got this annoying virus which doesn't allow me to do anything

On the white screen this is displayed
"Please wait while the connection is beeing established"

I can't even go into safe mode to do anything.

I have windows XP 32 bit machine.

I read your instructions from another thread and downloaded FRST.exe

I don't get the option of repair your computer in windows XP OS. Which one should I select?

Please help!!!

I have managed to run frst.exe on my computer and it has generated the text file but I can't copy onto my USB. For some reason BartPE does not recognize USB.

Do you know how can I transfer this text file?? Is there a way to copy this onto the windows live CD ??

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try e-mailing the text file to yourself while you are in BartPE.

 

I am not able to connect to internet while on BartPE.. I really don't know how to transfer the file frst.txt from my PC .. The only thing I have now is the Windows live CD.. I am struggling to find a plugin which can burn that text file to the CD..

Any suggestions??

Ok, if you run this fix the same way you've managed to run the scan, it should work.

Upon rebooting, you will have to right mouse click anywhere on the blank Windows desktop. A menu should appear, select: Arrange Icons By -> Show Desktop Icons

NOTICE: This script was written specifically for this user, for use on that particular machine. Running this on another machine may cause damage to your operating system

Attached is fixlist.txt

• Save fixlist.txt to your flash drive.
• You should now have both fixlist.txt and FRST.exe on your flash drive.

Now re-enter BartPE.
Run FRST and press the Fix button just once and wait.
The tool will make a log on the flashdrive (Fixlog.txt).
Please attach this to your next message. (How to attach)

Now attempt to boot normally.

You can delete the C:\FRST folder at this time.
