Hello, I came across your forums awhile back, that helped me get ride of a previous problem. Several days ago I went to some fishy torrent sites...knowing I would probably get infected with something. (I was trying to find an old 1998 show that only these sites had :[ ).

Anyways, The program I believe that is a Trojan/spyware is named:
    84S5gCmt.exe

Goggling this gives me no results. But it was "created" the same day I went to those sites and developed the problem. I get random pop ups even when I'm not on a web browser. S&D, spyware doctor, Kaspery, Vundofix, none of them find anything, they say I'm clean. I've quarantined the said file, and I delete it, but it just comes back. I've managed to stop the popups, but something is reinstalling this program, and other things, because now Kasperky finds other trojans, that I have it delete immediately.

    Please Help =]

hijackthis.log is the day it happened and before I quarantined/deleted anything.
    #2 is after I did the quarantining/deleting.

I read through your Read & Run me. I went through my add/remove programs comparing to your list and found nothing. Show hidden files/folders is always on for me. I have Kaspery & Spyware Doctor running.

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

Please follow the instructions in the below link and attach the requested logs when you finish these instructions.

    • If something does not run, write down the info to explain to us later but keep on going.
    • Do not assume that because one step does not work that they all will not.
    Notes:

    1. If you run into problems trying to run theREAD & RUN ME or any of the scans in normal boot mode. You can running steps in safe boot mode but make sure you tell us what you did later when you post logs. See the below if you do not know how to boot in safe mode:
    2. If you have problems downloading on the problem PC, download the tools on another PC and burn to a CD. Then copy them to the problem PC. You will have to skip getting updates if (and only if) your internet connection does not work. Yes you could use a flash drive too but flash drives are writeable and infections can spread to them.
