Help Please..

    I can not get on internet. It says I am conected to the wireless network. But will not go online. I tried it on safe mode and could. Anyone know what is wrong?? Please help My yahoo is <Snipped> Thanks in advance..

    Hi and Welcome

    1. What is your Windows Version?
    2. Is this issue related to a game or just you cannot get on the internet at all? (mention this as your posting here now, unless on a different PC)
    3. If a game what is its name?
    4. Do you have a firewall? if so then turn it off to test as it maybe blocking you from connecting to the internet, so may depending on which one it is, its settings may need adjsuting to allow this game or your connection onto the net.
    5. Have you scanned for malware/virus's?

    I have XP. Can not get on internet at all except safe mode. Fixed some issues now telling no volume or direct x can not be installed on this computer.?? Not the firewall checked and I have scanned,, Trying re format now..
