Ok, so before i even wisted this forum i found SpyFalcon on my CPU and just simply went into add/remove programs and removed for the system.

But i still have a virus on my cpu with the same symtoms as SpyFalcon (taskbar popups saying virus detected etc...). So i followed the directions found here

My problem now is when it says to find the certain files it has listed, i cant find them. I have "hide hidden files" turned off, and i also tried searching for the files but still no luck.

Im also not sure if i should continue with the removal instructions. Any suggestions???

    Windows XP sp2

Just complete ALL the steps in that procedure exactly as written (run them in safe mode with no browsers open....etc) and attach your smitfiles.txt log when finished. You must not open any browsers while running the procedure and you must do all the steps from beginning to end without interruption. Even if you do not find the files and folders mention, just complete all steps. The note at the beginning tells you this.
