I've just completed cleaning this machine with much great help from your malware removal forum. It has been suggested that I start a thread in this forum for assistance in removing the last issue with this machine. We keep getting a Dialog box opening trying to sell ClickFree Backup, which must have been installed on this machine at some stage. There is an icon in the notification area for ClickFree Backup and a right click of that icon shows a number of options including 'uninstall'. However clicking 'uninstall' only results in another dialog box opening saying that it 'can not get install path'. ClickFree Backup is not listed in the installed programs either.

Is there any way to stop the icon loading in the notification area and stopping the box advertising the program?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Open System Configuration - type msconfig in the Search box on the Start Menu.
Click the Startup tab and see if there's an entry relating to ClickFree Backup, and uncheck the box next to it. I'l post more info after you do this first.

Here are some registry entries you might have:
Find and delete all registry entries of the program in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Storage Appliance Corporation\
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Storage Appliance Corporation\ HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\

Find and delete all files of the program in system folders C:\Program Files\Storage Appliance Corporation\
    C:\Document and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Storage Appliance Corporation\ C:\Documents and Settings\%USER%\Application Data\Storage Appliance Corporation\

This page also shows files it may store on the computer

Thankyou. None of those registry entries exist. Also there is no ClickFree directory in the Program Files or Program Files (x86) folders (therefore no entries to delete per the link to Should I Remove It). All we have is an icon in the notification area and the occasional automatic opening of a dialog box advertising the product. Thanks

If you have CCleaner, run it and click on Tools > Startup. Look if there's an entry. I have seen entries not shown by System Configuration.
Also, look in Task Scheduler and Services for anything resembling ClickFree Backup.

Thanks all - so far so good - found a scheduled task for ClickFree Backup 32 reminder which I deleted, and after a reboot I haven't seen the nag screen yet. Ran Process Explorer - what a great tool thanks ;) - it found a ClickFree Reminder which I killed and it also showed the path which was a ClickFree folder in ProgramData which I deleted. And now we have at last no icon in the notification area and so far no nag screens.

Awesome. Thanks so much everyone for your great assistance and advice :)
