I followed the instructions for creating text file logs with the recommended scanning programs. I'm attaching the text files to this post. There was one hitch: bitdefender crashed the first time I ran it- the log of everything that it identified and deleted before it crashed the first time was lost. The second try was succesfull (the log is attached), but again, whatever it deleted in that first attempt is gone.

    Thanks for any help.

You must remember to remain in one thread for your problem. I merged you back into one thread.

You never even told us what malware problems you are having!

You need to get the other logs attached. Make sure you watch for error messages in the Manage Attachments window. They are not very obvious to most people. Also you can try uploading one log file at a time. Sometimes it is also helpful to flush your browser cache and then click Refresh a couple times when you have problems attaching files. Then start the process over.

To flush your Internet Explorer Cache:
    • click Tools
    • Internet Options
    • Now on the General tab and click Delete Files and select Delete all Offline content too
    • Click OK.
    • When it finishes Click OK.
You need to uninstall Viewpoint Media Player as requested in step 0 of the READ ME.
You need to uninstall Java 2 Runtime Environment, SE v1.4.2 as requested in step 6 of the READ ME.

I also see that you have Ad-aware 6 Personal installed. This has not been used for 3 years. You need to uninstall this. I also do not recommend using the current version which is Ad-Aware 7. If you can find Ad-Aware SE Personal it would be okay to use as a backup scanner but we do not really not that helpful anymore.

Did you run Ccleaner on this user account? Bill and Anjali
The reason I ask is that this users Temp files do not appear to have been cleaned up.
