Help! searchportal.information.com

Hello all, i have a problem that does not seem to be adware/spyware/ or virus . This is why i posted this tread here.

Computer Stats:
-Windows XP Home
-Maxthon Browser (problem appears in both browsers)
-IE Broswer (problem appears in both browsers)
-All IE settings (Default)
-Maxthon Settings (Default) Except that i took off all the search engines.
-Using ADSL
-Using Router

The problem is:

If I'm at my other computer and mistype a url, Ggggooggglleee.com for example, I get a "The requested URL could not be retrieved" page.

What a suprise I hear you say!

However, when I'm at home, if I type the same url, my brower redirects me to searchportal.information.com. This happens to all mistyped urls.

I've tried Adaware, Spybot, HijackThis, CCleaner, Windows Defender, CWShredder, Panda, Trend Micro, Avast anti-virus, and AVG; everything came out clean.

Any help GREATLY appreciated!
