My computer is an HP Pavilion Slimline s5123w desktop, I'm using Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit. I had to replace the hard drive about 2 years ago also installed Vista back. Things have worked fine for the most part with computer but it is cluttered with lots of stuff runs slow and some things give me errors I can't fix. I was thinking of doing a System Recovery to restore Software and driver to original factory shipped condition. Will I still be able to do that with different hard drive? Will I have to back up my bookmarks Google Chrome or will they still be there? What other things should I do before I do the recovery, like a check list, if I need to give more information please let me know.

    Thanks Scott ( poochokid )

Do you have a disk from the manufacturer with anything operating-system or driver related on it?

What size is the hard drive and what size does the operating system report the hard drive as? This might be different as any recovery partition will be hidden or on a different partition.
