Help Using Ubuntu

i need help i am on ubuntu 10.4 and since i started using chrome it crashes all the time which it never did when i was on 8.4

i love linux i changed a little under a year ago it has been a battle learning how to use it but i will never go back to windows i have a problem when i try to run things in terminal i assume this is dos level commands can you run windows based programs on linux if so please tell me what i am doing wrong

Yes you can use some windows programs in Ubuntu using a program called WINE. Check these websites for additional information:

The commands from 8.04 to 10.04 are quite similiar.

What are you wanting to do in 10.04 that you are having issues with?

 

i synced the email account and this is when the problem started i have reset to default settings and testing now thanks
