I downloaded a program and as soon as I was installing it a lot of windows popped up and my background turned red. Then the explorer wants to run the program halt to scan my system. When I keep saying no, then my computer freezes. I can't do anything in my computer. I can't open the window explorer. It's giving me an access error. It says contact administrator. My computer is slow. It's not allowing me to connect to the internet. It's not letting me to do anything.

Is there anything I can do?

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

Please follow the instructions in the below link and attach the requested logs when you finish these instructions.

    • If something does not run, write down the info to explain to us later but keep on going.
    • Do not assume that because one step does not work that they all will not.
READ & RUN ME FIRST. Malware Removal Guide

    Notes:

    1. If you run into problems trying to run the READ & RUN ME or any of the scans in normal boot mode. You can run the steps in safe boot mode but make sure you tell us what you did later when you post logs. See the below if you do not know how to boot in safe mode:
    2. If you have problems downloading on the problem PC, download the tools on another PC and burn to a CD. Then copy them to the problem PC. You will have to skip getting updates if (and only if) your internet connection does not work. Yes you could use a flash drive too but flash drives are writeable and infections can spread to them.

I tried. I downloaded the Pc Tool Anti Virus in another computer and used a usb drive to install it in my laptop.I logged in as administrator under the safe mode in windows and installed the anti virus. The restarted under the safe mode. When I'm trying to open the program, it is giving me an error and asking me to reboot and try again. It says if the problem persist call support and it gives me the error #2.
