Hey guys, I am not much of a gamer but I have a customers kid who is. He bought a Nemesis Elite Case...

    http://www.nzxt.com/NemesisElite.php

Too fancy for me, but he also tried to transfer his Dell components into it (power supply and all). Needless to say, it did not work.

What I need to know from you guys is what Board can he get that will work with all the gadgets (the case has an LCD display, firewire, usb on the front and stuff) and will also give him a good gaming experience? I am clueless as to what board would be perfect for this Nemesis case. Any help appreciated! He is a 13 yr old who obviously has no idea what he was doing. LoL.

Looks like something from Tron LOL :D .Any board and parts in the world really ( Exept dell parts ).You basically would probably be best building a new comp, how good depends on how much you wanna spend, you could use some of the parts from the dell cd roms,HD's, but then you would end up with one computer and some junk when you could have 2 full working computers for only a few dollars more, again depends on how much you wanna spend.

I don't know what he wants to spend, all I want is to make sure he can get a board that will work with this case and stuff. The rest is up to him.

Until he works out how much he can spend Its impossible to recommend something, but any new motherboard will fit they are all standard atx boards these days. ;)But a new cpu, memory and psu will be needed to make the most of the new board,if its just a cheap replacement you want so it all fits in there post the number of the dell so we can see what all the parts are.

Says right on the site that the case will hold any
ATX, MICRO-ATX, BABY AT sized motherboards

also said the case had an optional 400 WATT PS2 ATX 12V power supply. I guess this kid decided not to get this, but a similar power supply should be used.

I understand the case can take ATX and all different types, my question is if I need something specific or something with alot of features to get it to work with the Firewire port on the top, the audio and USB. Also apparently this thing lights up, which should just be a power thing not anything on the mobo right?

I need a system board that someone here can suggest.

All boards will work with those sockets/ports and the lights will plug into a molex power plug on the psu
