My daughter decided to change the startup password on the computer that I gave her and now she cannot remember the new password she put in. She can only log on as a guest and it appears that no other accounts exist, including my own. The computer doesn't give the option of switching users when you go to log off as a guest. Please help! If there is any way of retrieving the password, please let me know!

If you have multiple users, and she only reset her own ....try logging on as administrator (hoping that no password was set ...so just hit enter) then go to the accounts and "reset" passwords.

Also ...try hitting cntr+alt+del and choose change password
