help !! why is this happenning

i dont know why this is happenning i am using win xp pro but the problem is yhis i try to download drivers from diamond multimedia but it asking for username + password the site is not 1 where you have to register but it seems as though windows is asking for it does thgis have anything to do with .net password

 

no, that's a password protected directory on their server. If I remember correctly, Diamond actually GIVES you the password someplace on one of the previous pages.

 

i did not see anywhere on there pages to register but i will go back and have a look i just read the diamond joined with sonic and now they are bust what a pity

 

m/a i hate to seem silly but i cannt read chinese unles there is some way to change it to english

 

Im glad it's not just me that got a Chinese site when I clicked that link. Thought I needed some new fonts update or something.

 

thanks guys i sorted the problem 1: i found out that sonicblue took over diamond and they ( sonic ) is now bankrupt

2 i uninstalled the modem reboot reinstalled modem to puter and did manual install of drivers on the install wizard there a check mark to look for other manufactures and lone behold sonic was listed and then win xp installed the drivers which it had for the diamond modem

it took me 3/2 weeks to sort this out i did not know that xp had this feature it works great now
