Help windows live problems

it says a the gateway seems to be offline on the windows live messenger i really need to sighn in very importent :confused :cry

 

For me, that usually means the Internet is either disconnected or too slow, as when too much software is updating or the connection is bad. If web pages load fast, it might be some bad setting like the gateway IP changed...

I did some research... If you have good Internet, you should first try logging into your MSN mail to see if it's your account. If that works, you should check your firewall to make sure it's allowing MSN Messenger to use what it needs.
