help with beagle virus

    symantec says C:/WINDOWS/system32/winxp.exeopenopen is infected with W32.Beagle@mm!zip
    so i ran this Avast?cleaner

    this is an XP 2ghz, 512mb ram, it's seems to work decent,
    should i just leave it alone , or what , i also ran symantec's beagle removal tool and it froze when it got to the dllcache/imgimg i believe,

    hmm seems symantec misspellled the beagle ,,bagle..geesh

    Nah, Symantec and McAfee use different names for the same virus/worm/trojans sometimes. Competing companies, I guess...
