Easiest way would be to isntall the software that came with your digital camera, or download it from the vendors website. Really for more indepth help please provide more information on your hardware such as digital camera model, and your pc model, what type of media you are using to attach your camera (usb, firewire, infrared, etc.) You will also need to verify you have a cd-rom that is capable of writing to discs not just reading them.

Loading camera software is not the easiest. I did that once, when I was stupider. A windows update broke the camera software so it was useless to me. The easiest way is to take the card out of the camera, attach it by USB card reader and copy the files to the computer. Burn the files to a CD or DVD for safe keeping before you do any altering of the photos.
First we need to know the make and model of the camera so we know what kind of storage it uses. Then I can point you to the proper card reader. Windows will see it as a storage device and all the pictures will be listed in Windows Explorer.
