Help with converting DVD to AVI?

    I am currently using WinAvi Video Converter 8.0, and would like to convert a DVD Full rip (I successfully used DVD Decoder to make a copy onto my HD) to a .avi file of just the main movie. So far, I have been successful, but it has been adding the English subtitles which came with the DVD full and putting them on the .avi file. Can anyone please tell me how to disable this? Thanks a lot.

    try videohelp.com they seem to answer these type of questins all the time.

    I came shy of starting my own thread when this one popped up instead. Thanks for the info on www.videohelp.com = there is a wealth of information there, including the program I was hoping for to convert my video files. Thank you. :)
