help with DVDs

    I have installed a LG CD R0M CDR 8483B (48 CD ROM), and a Lite-on LTR-523275 (52x/32x/52x CD-RW). I am unable to open any DVD disks such as APC or PC World magazine stuff. Are my readers unable to read them or do I have to do something to enable them to?:confused:
    Any help will be appreciated.

    It is a CD-ROM drive. It is incompatible with DVD discs. You will need to buy a DVD drive.
