Hi, I have no idea what kind of virus this is. However, when doing a virus scan with Avira, it detected that I had EXP/CVE-2012-4681.A.37 exploit, EXP/CVE-2012-4681.A.36, EXP/CVE-2012-4681.A.35, EXP/CVE-2012-4681.A.34, EXP/CVE-2012-4681.A.333, and EXP/CVE-2012-4681. I quarantined what it said to do, and I did everything in the Read and Run First section (except I don't know what disk emulation software is--I don't have Daemon Tools). Then I ran scans with Roguekiller, Malwarebytes, TDSSKiller, Hitman Pro, and MGTools. Malwarebytes, TDSSKiller, and Hitman Pro all said that there was no threat found. Roguekiller said that there was something. I have no idea what MGTools said. The only trouble I seem to be having with my computer is that I recently downloaded an update to my operating system--I'm using XP3 now instead of Windows XP2. However, I can't download any additional updates to windows now--specifically the Security Update for Windows XP (KB2686509), and when I tried to fix it on Microsoft's page, I could not download the Fix it for me program. I also could not register the windows entry myself like it said to do. It said the file that I entered was invalid. (Oh, by the way, it does seem like my computer has been running a little slower than before, and Google Chrome flash plug in has crashed a lot, but I was also running flash in Firefox at the same time.) Please help me know what to do now. Am I still infected, and what will this infection do? I'll try to attach my scanning logs. Thanks.

So can anyone tell me if my logs show I have anything to worry about? What do the results from Roguekiller mean? It said I had something.

The only problem I see in your logs is this:
    McAfee Security Scan Plus
    Norton Security Scan
    ZoneAlarm Security
Avira AntiVir Personal - Free Antivirus

You should have only One AV program installed.

You need to run either CCLeaner or Wise Disk Cleaner to clean out your temp folders.

The rest of your issues should be addressed in the software forum.

Since you are not having any malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:

    1. We recommend you keep Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware. You can uninstall RogueKiller and HitManPro.
    2. Go back to step 6 oof the READ ME and renable your Disk Emulation software with Defogger if you had disabled it.
    3. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    4. If running Vista or Win 7, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    5. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis.
    6. Goto the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders
related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    7. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:

Malware removal from a National Chain = $149
Malware removal from MajorGeeks = $0
