Help with HiJack This file

This computer had over 300 malware files found by Malwarebytes, Spybot S&D and SuperAntispyware. Many problems have been resolved but one remains. When I start the computer it comes up quickly with the desktop, time, AVG and sound icon. Then it pauses for over a minute. During that time the CPU usage is around 2% according to Task Manager. After that time my Connection icon comes up. Only after that comes up can I bring up and connect with Internet Explorer 7.

Attached is the HiJackThis log in the hopes that it will allow you to determine what might be causing this delay.

Tim, thank you for the offer. I stopped several of the unneeded microsoft services, optimized with bootvis and went to the web site http://www.hijackthis.de/ and deleted 5 items with hijackthis and the delay problem got resolved. I returned it to the user this morning.

I would much prefer having followed your instructions, just got too impatient but again THANKS. I am grateful for people like you willing to help.
