    Hi

I recently had a virus and have got that cleaned up thanks to the folks on the major geeks malware cleanup forum. COming out of that however, I 've had a couple of issues, first a couple of programs have been compromised, like adobe reader and I can't uninstall it , or manage to get a new version installed. I get the same error message each time both trying to install or uninstall: Error 1402 "Could not open key" Hkey_local_machine_ software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\run\optionalcomponents\MSFS and then "ensure you have sufficient rights...

Any idea how I get by this and get adobe back?

Also, when I"m rebooting ( this started during the virus grief) it gives me two options, regular and a tuneup ( cleanup utility my son had on here) backup. The regular boot just loops and neverstarts, the tuneup backup loads fine and windows starts. Although this is not critical, I would like to get the tuneup backup to be the regular startup if you get my drift, any idea what I need to do to get that fixed up?

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.
