help with loading a browser

hello major geeks

just going through and the "read and run me first" sticky

google.com would not load up into my browser, I was using chrome, a decoding error message was showing.

after reading, that I might be fixed by de-installing and re-installing, I thought I would give it a go.

I now can not access my email, any nor can I re-upload chrome or Mozilla and anything else, though I do have access to you and bing.com, bing works but it will not let me access any of the useful chrome pages for uploading.

please might you be able to help

running windows 7, with a Lenovo computer 64bit
