    Hello everyone,

I have a HP 2000 Envy Notebook PC. Product# A7A78UA#ABA. This is a friends notebook that I am doing a recovery on. I tried it once and something didn't go right so I called HP and with it being out of warrenty, he was able to tell me how to do the recovery using the options that are built into the notebook. So its running right now. I have two questions I could use your opinions on.

    1. After I did the first recovery it showed in My Computer there was a drive for recovery that was almost full and a drive that said HP-Tools that was full with a red bar that showed it was full on the drive. Is there a way after the recovery is done that I can turn off any options that automatticaly backup up to on of those two drives? Or can I make a back up on a dvd and just install everything on my C Drive?

    2. Also, when its time to make a backup disk, is it best to use a flash drive, CD, or a DVD? And if its a DVD, is there a certain DVDs to buy to use? (EX:DVD-r, DVD-rw and so on..

    Hi Amy

    1. Thats normal in that the backup restore partition will show up in My Computer as full.
    2. I would make a backup disk as soon as, but I use Acronis True Image (paid software) to backup my PC's, you could use and I have EASEUS ToDo
