Help with new ploy win32 cant login

    I have an Acer Aspire One running XP Home, and McAfee found New Poly Win 32. I rebooted and now I cant login. When I click the login button you can hear the start up sound for about 1 second then you hear the shut-down sound and back to the login screen. It does this in every mode that I try to boot-up. Is there any way to fix this, I tried to format it but my windows disk cant see the HDD. I'm stuck and have no idea what to do. Any help is greatly appreicated.

    I have moved your thread to the software section as you will need to be able to boot to a stable state before we can assist you with any malware issues. You can start a new thread in the malware forum once you are able to boot up.
