Help With Old Account

Suprised to see so many of the old school geekers still lurking around Not sure you guys remember me because its been years and years but was wondering if you might be able to help me reset my password for my old account (abz1nthe) real name Adam. I cant remember the email I used to sign up or my password but I am hoping to get back into the swing of things with posting around the forums and reconnecting with old online friends I'd be willing to answer any other relevant questions to prove I am me hah

 

I should say I can remember the email I signed up with I just can't remember the password to login to the email to reset the password for my MG account (Haven't accessed it for years). Hope that makes sense!

 

Adam have you tried clicking on the "forgot my password" link at login? If you have the email address and access to it Major Geeks will send you a new password to access your account if the account is still valid.

 

Hi KatKat, Yes I have but the problem is my old account ( abz1nthe) is linked to an old email address that I can't remember the password for because I havent logged into it since I use to frequent these forums about 3-4 years ago. I tried to reset my password for the yahoomail account (that I used to sign up to MG) but it then sends it to a backup email account that I used to use that I also no longer remember the password for hah Really the only way I can think of getting my old account back is to have an MG Administrator reset it for me.

You should be able to reset your password on your email password also if you want to go that route and don't want to wait.

 

That's it fond memories! Is there a way an admin can change the contact email and then I can reset the password to access it again? Or just reset the password and PM it to me on this account?

I tried to reset it through my email but it sends an email to a backup email that I don't remember the password for hah I wish it would prompt for security questions because I'm sure I'd remember that but it doesn't. It only gives me the option to send it to the backup address.
