Help with printing problem please!? Asap!!!

I currently have a bit of a problem. I have a customers computer in the shop and they have brought me their Till Printer & Till Box with their PC. Both Till Printer & Cash Box are linked to the machine.

If we ignore the Cash box a moment.

The Problem I have:

When I print anything to the Till Printer it will not print it will go to the Printer and then just disapear... It does this if I try printing from any location or anything. I have repaired Windows, cleanups of windows and reinstalled printer drivers and checked if the correct printing services are running and they are.

I am trying to get around this WITHOUT doing a reinstall. Reason being its for a Chinese they have all their accounts and the software they use to do the orders and so on alreadyt installed on the machine and no backup or disks etc...

O and Windows is installed in Chinese too.. so you can picture the fun I have been having with this machine. I am pretty good at getting around the machine anyway without knowing what things are saying.

Any ideas of sorting this printing problem out... I have had problems like this before where people can't print and it goes to the printer but nothing happens. Its like the document is just sent into nothing and the printer does nothing. I haven't had to fix it before as everyone thats had this problem has always wanrted their machine formatted anyway.

If someone could give me some stuff to try before I tell them we really do need to do a reinstall then I would be most greatful!

Does the printer work on another PC?

 

Yes it does, I have installed it on another machine with the drivers I have been trying to get it working with on the "Chinese" machine and it still won't work so I am just trying a few things.

I have just created another account on the machine and trying to reinstall the drivers and trying to print via that account so about to see what it does.

More help would be great please!
