    Windows XP Pro SP1
    Asus A7N8X Dlx
    ATI 9000 PRO
Dell 17" Flat Screen CRT P792
OS, BIOS, and all drivers updated.(including monitor drivers)

When I set my rates to anything other than 60, the left side of my screen gets kinda wavy. To the left the only thing keeping me from the wall is one of my speakers and my sub, which I did turn off.

Like I said everything is updated, XP detects my monitor OK, and I'm only trying rates my monitor supports.

    Any ideas?

Hass, had a speaker next to the monitor causing his problem. Unless the speakers are shielded, turnining the speaker off isn't enough to get rid of the interference, you must move it. All is well. GO ME !!!!!!!!!!!!

With little effort I was able to lift my leg and kick the speakers off the desk without leaving my chair. Altough I may have pulled something in my leg, the problem has been fixed.

    FYI, these are my speakers

Have not had any problems with them other than this.
