Help with SBS 2003 Exporting users contacts, etc

Hi,

I was wondering if someone could help me with a way to export users, contacts and mailboxes from a SBS 2003 machine. What is happening is the company i work for is upgrading to 2008 but, using the same server. We tried a migration before already and it failed miserably during the AD part. right now were running sbs 03 through vm ware and it has given us some trouble so we want to get back to the migration to 08. the problem is that apparently, the "normal" way to export these items can't be done because of the way we are upgrading. I think it has to be done from the command prompt using certain commands. this is what i have found but, i dont fully understand it. i was hoping someone might be able to help me out with this. let me know if you need more details. thanks
