Help with setting up wireless network...

We have a desktop and notebook computer now, so I have the desktop computer hard wired to the router and most of our hardware (printers, etc.). The notebook works fine with the router and connects to both our email and internet. The problem I'm having is completing the network so I can print from wireless notebook and file share.

Am I missing something? I'm using Windows XP for our operating system on both computers and I've set up the desktop printer to share, but I cannot recognize the network from the notebook PC.
