i've installed i new slave hard drive for my music and photos, I'm trying to change the shell folder of "My Music" to open the My Music on my new E:\ drive, this is what i've been tring:

Click Start > Run, and type in regedit hit enter

Once regedit appears Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer \ Shell Folders

Right click on the folder as in My Music you want to change and select Modify.

Change the path of your folder to the new path ie the location of the new folder for music ( for example d:\my new music folder BUT its the location of your new music storage location ), Close Regedit, adn may need to reboot to take effect.

however i do everything correct put it doesn't save the path and i don't no what i'm doing wrong, the new file is on my E drive which is under my computer as "new volume (E:)" and the the file is called "My Music" so i modify the shell folder as E:\My Music, but it doesn't store

what can i be doing wrong?
