help with this computer, got an hour.

alright my friend wants to buy this computer.. he might buy it in an hour and i really dont think its a good deal but maybe you guys can help please.

For the money hes going to pay, he could get a much better deal.........$999, thats with 256MB and 8gb HD, thats wicked shitty

 

sorry thats a 80GB Serial ATA 7,200 RPM w/8MB Cache not 8 gig, and after bumping the ram to 512 it wouldn't be that bad, he would be fine buying that if not comfortable building his own pc,

 

I would recommend at least 1gb mem........definatly worth it

 

I think you can probably get a better deal elswhere. www.abspc.com comes to mind. IMO, you'd be better off going with a single 6800GT or 7800GT versus 2 6600LEs.

 

alright ill tell him all what has been said so far.. hopefully he didnt buy the thing yet.. i mean i built my computer and it only costed $900 and its like.. better then the alienware slightly or maybe the alienware is slightly better then mine.. i dont know.
