help with trojan horse dropper agent git

    I am helping a lady with her computer and it is infected with trojan horse dropper git the computer is running xp
    I ran Ccleaner
    avg spyware
    rootchk
    combofix
    I have logfiles to all of these if they will help
    any suggestions

    I followed all of the steps and the computer seems better but when it starts up the following error message appears
    error loading c:/windows/system32/acknwgnn.dll
    any ideas

    Yes...that file needs to be removed ...and I'm sure there are others ...but I can't say without seeing the requested logs.
