Help with Video

Hi, I am trying to watch basketball games on ESPN 360. I have a Dell Dimension 8200 with a P4 with XP sp3. I am on a DSL internet connection. Video during the games is very fuzzy (no definition) looks like I am only getting some of the pixels (if that makes any sense). I bought another video card a Nvidia Geforce 2 MX400 with 64 mb of ram. I upgraded my system ram from 256mb to 768mb. My picture is still poor except when the picture is of one or more players stopped (like when shooting a free-throw) that picture is very sharp. I have installed all updates (flash player 10, Adobe Shockwave player 11, latest Active X, etc.) suggested by ESPN including this new Move Player that they have just gone to. Also there is a scanner to check your system to see if it has the needed components to work on the ESPN system and it reported that my system had all the necessary components to run their programing. My monitor is old. A Sony Trinitron Multiscan 500PS. I checked on new drivers and was told that these monitors were made to use standard (generic) VGA drivers. All of the Hulu type programs are great, show with no problems. If anyone can help I would appreciate it.

 

Try their feedback page. In their FAQs they say to use it for further troubleshooting. I would just copy/paste your post here over to the feedback form and see if you get a response.

You seem to have done just about everything that should have made it work. Do you use FF or IE? If you have only tried one browser maybe try the other. I have a lot more video problems in FF than I do in IE. Probably because of FF addons that block Flash and ads.

 

Thanks I will try them again. The response the first time was that I should switch to FF because their player worked better with it than IE. I have tried everything they said to do the first time. Maybe if I complain enough they will send someone to my house. Yea Right.
